In Japan, the seasons change all through the year.

Every day, we strolled across rice fields to go to our elementary school.
In May, it appears as a vivid shade of light green throughout the fields.
The wind created patterns in the field that caused the leaves to rustle.

In the autumn, when the rice turns a pale brown color, it's time to harvest it.
Following the farmers' completion of the harvest, we competed by strolling side by side while scooping handfuls of rice husk that had been scattered by the rice field and dropping them through a small opening between our hands. Behind us, there were still two rows of rice husks, but they were quickly blown away. The aroma of the rice husk, the happiness we had after school, and it brought back memories of our early years.
